The origins of this 10 bedroom castle stretch back to around 1000 AD. It has protected people from persecution, and laid siege by Henry the IVth. It was restored in the 14th and 17th centuries. The castle stood proud through vast slabs of history: the dark ages, Joan of Arc, Leonardo Da Vinci, and the Renaissance. More recently it was the home to actress Annabel Buffet - wife of the great artist Bernard Buffet.  

We are excited to be able to share the castle and all of its modern comforts with you and are certain that you will feel the same magic in its walls that we do.
